Our story
How UNG.WAY started and why we exist.
Founded by young volunteers
UNG.WAY began as a grassroots initiative started by engaged young people who wanted to create a more open, active, and supportive environment for youth in the region.
We believe that youth should not just participate — they should lead. Our projects are created with young people, not only for young people.
Driven by community needs
We saw a need for stronger social connection and inclusion, especially for young newcomers and those who feel isolated. UNG.WAY focuses on building bridges through shared activities and real collaboration.
Today, we continue to grow through partnerships, volunteer commitment, and a clear mission to support youth participation.
Where we operate
Vestfold & Telemark, Norway — local focus, open mindset.
We primarily operate in Tønsberg and surrounding municipalities in Vestfold & Telemark. Our activities happen at youth centers, community venues, schools, and in the Norwegian outdoors — from coastline experiences to forest hikes.
At the same time, our community is international. We welcome young people from different cultures and backgrounds and create spaces where cultural exchange becomes a natural part of everyday life.
